Lethe is an independent privacy product operated by Rudra Satani. Its purpose is to help people understand what people-search sites may expose about them and find the official routes for requesting removal.

What you can use today

The free exposure scan checks ten supported brokers without requiring an account or email. Results are redacted and distinguish possible matches, not found, and unavailable checks. Our manual removal guides help you make your own opt-out requests. Signed-in accounts provide profile setup and scan history. Lethe does not submit opt-outs or confirm removal for you.

Different choices, different data handling

Anonymous scans have no durable storage of raw inputs or results. Redacted results are cached for up to five minutes, and hashed-IP rate limits help prevent abuse. If you choose an account, the API encrypts your profile details before saving them. Account scan history retains broker status and exposed-category flags, not raw broker records. Your account email remains an identifier. This is server-side encryption, not encryption in your browser.

What we are developing

We are exploring AI assistance for repetitive removal tasks, including an Anthropic adapter for Claude. These capabilities are in development; Claude-powered automated removal is not available. Future assisted removal must meet legal, privacy, and reliability requirements before release.
